From Ponta Delgada following to the south coast of the island. On the way stop in Vila Franca do Campo – the first capital of the island – where you can visit the factory of the famous Queijadas da Vila.
When you reach the Furnas valley, along the banks of the romantic lagoon, you can participate in the “”cozido in the ground””, which will be served for lunch.
After lunch visits the hot springs area, with fumaroles and springs of thermal and mineral water where you will proceed to your test. Ascent to the viewpoint of Pico do Ferro, where you have a superb view over the crater that surrounds the Furnas valley.
Continue along the north coast, visiting the tea factory, unique of its kind in Europe, where you can enjoy the beautiful view on the tea plantation and the north coast, sipping a cup of tea. Returning to Ponta Delgada, stop at the viewpoint of Santa Iria, with an idyllic view on the north coast of the Island.
