The day begins by leaving Ponta Delgada towards the eastern part of the island, making a small stop in the village of Povoação (the first settlement of the island) for a break of comfort (30 min) where you will have the opportunity to taste the traditional sweet “Fofas”.
Arriving at Faial da Terra, we begin our walk in the picturesque little spot of the “Sanguinho”, where you will not only enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view but also benefit from the explanations of our guide on this fantastic place.
We continue the path through exotic and dense vegetation to reach the magnificent waterfall “Salto do Prego” where you can if you wish, have a bath in the clear freshwater.
Continuing on the trail, we follow a “”Levada”” until arriving at the Faial of the Earth. Optional: a Picnic in the wild, or a complete meal that will be held in Faial on Earth, in a traditional country house where the food is cooked in a wood oven.
At the end of the day, we return to Ponta Delgada.
